Building a Better Skate Park, Together

The expansion of Greer Park’s skate park will occur in two phases, each estimated to cost near $650,000 - $750,000. Each phase can begin construction planning as individual phase goals are met.

Phase I:

  • A brand new street plaza, with ledges, rails, ledges, manual pads, and more.

  • Will include varying sizes of different features, allowing for beginner to advanced progression

  • This addition is key to meeting the needs of modern skateboarding

Phase II:

  • Adding new bowls and repairing the surface of existing ones.

  • Adding a pump track to enhance the flow of the park.

  • Bowls with varying sizes to allow for progression.

  • The new bowls will have coping around the edges to allow for modern bowl skating and lip tricks.

Project Timeline:

  • Site Approved: The location has been approved by the City Council and Parks and Recreation Department.

  • Community Support: Over 2,000 residents signed in support.

  • Fundraising Kickoff: December 15th at the University Club, Palo Alto.
